This large scale investigation is based on two research projects funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF): „VideoEssay: Futures of Audiovisual Research and Teaching„ (Jan 2020 – Dec 2023) lead by Johannes Binotto; and „The Video Essay: Memories, Ecologies, Bodies“ (since Jan 2024) co-lead by Johannes Binotto and Prof. Kevin B. Lee (University of Lugano).
