The Goethe-Institut Boston is proud to present Rainer Werner Fassbinder’s Berlin Alexanderplatz, a monument of late 20th-century filmmaking and is seen by many as the consummate expression of film giant Rainer Werner Fassbinder´s vision of humanity.
On March 21, 2pm EST, we offer a live conversation with two cultural media researchers and Fassbinder experts: Johannes Binotto teaches film theory and history at the Lucerne School of Art and Design joins us from Zurich, Switzerland and Peter Jelavich, Professor of History and author of Berlin Alexanderplatz: Radio, Film, and the Death of Weimar Culture (2006) joins us from Johns Hopkins University.
